Metallic Tudor Grey with tan leather interior, rear picnic tables, and sheepskin overrugs. Very rare 1960s model with older dash. Originally supplied by HA Fox of London to the aristocrat, Lt. Col. Ririd Myddleton MVO DL JP of Chirk Castle. Lt. Col. Myddleton, Commander of the Ist (Armoured) Battalion Coldstream Guards at the Normandy Landings, was an Extra Equerry to the Queen and Sheriff of Denbighshire. A copy of the original factory delivery records in included in the documentation of this car. Subsequently the Bentley travelled to New York and Florida before being purchased by its last owner in 1991. Although there is no service history prior to this date there are many bills charting works carried out by the last owner. These include a bare metal respray in the original Tudor Grey, considerable work to the hydraulic system including new copper/cupronickel pipes, refurbishment of the brakes, and restoration of the dashboard and door cappings. Regarding the condition, I can report that the paintwork remains in very good condition as is the chrome. The engine bay is maintained to a high standard. The interior retains the nicely patinated original leather seats however replacement carpets and sheepskin overrugs have been fitted. Headcloth and wood trimmings are excellent whilst the earlier type dash adds to the character of this sports saloon. Car is in good driving condition with everything performing as it should. All gauges working. Brakes and suspension are especially good. The cross ply tyres have plenty of thread . A Kenlowe fan is fitted. Garaged and lightly used by the previous owner, the current mileage shows 05665 of which the last 2, 121 miles are warranted by old MOTS as having being completed since Nov 1990.
