1968 Daimler 250 V8 Automatic, PAS Stainless exhaust system Heated rear screen, navy leather Only 39, 000 miles 2 owners since 1991 when it was supplied by Robert Hughes, an acclaimed Jaguar, Daimler Specialist renowned for his exceptional quality cars. As this car was last used in 2004, we have carried out recommissioning to the brakes, electrics including upgrade to electronic ignition, charging system and fuel system. The car now drives beautifully with the engine as sweet as a nut. As can be seen in the accompanying photos in the 'Gallery ' section of my website, the underside is in totally original condition with no signs of previous welding. The bodywork is very good with excellent panel gaps. However the paint which is not original, whilst maintaing a good lustre, does contain a few flaws. Chrome is in original presentable condition. Interior is wonderfully patinated as it is in totally original condition. Tyres are Avon Radials and whilst are almost unworn have been on the car a while. Comes with original documents wallet complete with owners manual, dealer list, lubrication chart A 4 page RAC Engineer's report dating from 1990 when mileage was 33, 270. An excerpt from this states: "The blue leather seats and matching trim is considered to be an acceptable condition for this age and mileage" The other paperwork includes mots 1988-2003 , large invoice for major brake overhaul and ball joint replacement in 1987 (23, 228 miles) as well as an old type V5 and several old tax discs.
