Gowan Auto brands line up for the Ploughing

Overview

Gowan Auto is making a return to the National Ploughing Championships from September 19 to 21 in Ratheniska, County Laois. The event is expected to draw over 300,000 attendees, and Gowan Auto will have a prominent 96m-long display at stand number 436, row 28. They'll showcase 45 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles from their award-winning brands, along with a stage for entertainment and brand ambassador interviews hosted by sports pundit Phil Egan.

Citroën will present 11 vehicles, including the all-new ë-C4 X, an electric vehicle with a 360km range. Other Citroën models include the award-winning C4, C5 Aircross SUV, and C5 X. They'll also display Citroën's commercial vehicle lineup, featuring the popular Berlingo Van, ë-Dispatch, Relay, and the new C5 Aircross Commercial SUV, offering both comfort and 2.2 m3 of cargo space. Visitors can explore Citroën AMI, an electric urban mobility solution with compact dimensions, a 75km range, and a panoramic sunroof.

DS Automobiles will showcase the luxurious DS 4 and DS 7 plug-in hybrids, joined by DS brand ambassador Hugh Wallace for design discussions.

Fiat and Fiat Professional will exhibit the Fiat 500, 500X, and a range of light commercial vehicles. Alfa Romeo will feature the Tonale and Jeep will unveil the all-electric Jeep Avenger, recently voted Europe's Car of the Year 2023.

Opel's display will include the Corsa, Crossland, new Mokka, new Grandland, and new Astra. They'll also unveil the GSe sub-brand in Astra and Grandland models, along with their light commercial range.

Peugeot will showcase 10 vehicles, including the all-new Peugeot 408 and various electrified models. Visitors can meet Dublin GAA stars Con O'Callaghan and Leah Caffrey, as well as Peugeot Brand Ambassadors Kathryn Thomas and Dermot Whelan.
