Obviously a 2020 purchase, potential buyers have time to browse and choose. The company says there are 26 different versions in the range - so you're spoilt for choice.
The new arrival slots in between the smaller CX-3 and larger CX-5. Of note is the inclusion of the Skyactiv-X spark-controlled compression ignition petrol engine in the line-up.
There are four trim levels: GS, GS-L, GT and GT Sport.
There is a choice of two petrols (24v mild-hybrid system) and a 1.8 diesel option (Skyactiv-D).
The 122PS 2-litre Skyactiv-G petrol has cylinder-deactivation and is matched to front-wheel drive (auto or manual).
The Skyactiv-X petrol, with 180PS, also comes with every grade. Standard spec includes heads-up display, radar cruise control, LED headlights; 18in wheels are standard (silver metallic on Skyactiv-G and Skyactiv-D with bright silver metallic on Skyactiv-X models). GT and GT Sport models have black or stone-coloured leather.
The boot extends to 430 litres.
