Suzuki gives the Swace midsize estate a timely overhaul for July

Overview

Suzuki’s midsized estate is being revised and will go on sale here from July.

The 2023 update to the Swace includes significant changes to the engine and hybrid system.

There is a 15pc increase in combined maximum power output, rising from 122hp to 140hp.

The 1.8-litre petrol engine develops 97hp while the electric motor output goes from 53kW to 70kW.

Safety and spec equipment have also been upgraded. These include revised digital and multimedia elements.

The new Motion model includes LED rear lamps, seven airbags, dual-zone auto air con, an 8in LCD information screen, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, a smartphone link for wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto device connectivity, and rear parking camera.

The new Ultra grade adds updated Bi-LED projector headlights, safe exit assist, and park distance sensors.

The boot, meanwhile, extends to 595 litres.
