Citroen reveal all new Ë-C3

New electric model has a range of 320km

Overview

New Citroen e-c3 Ireland

Citroën have introduced their fourth generation C3 which will now be an exclusively electric model powered by a 44kWh battery, and a range of up to 320km.

According to the brand, the ë-C3 prioritizes comfort, user-friendliness, well-equipped features, and affordability.

Amongst the new tech on offer is the C-Zen Lounge, described as an innovative approach to reinventing the dashboard.

It also boasts a bold new design, based on the global BEV-native Citroën ‘Smart Car Platform’, debuting the new Citroën design language and brand signature.

It has a long history of success already, with over 5.6 million units sold since the debut of the first generation in 2002. In fact, the C3 is the brand's most popular model, accounting for 29 percent of Citroën's European sales volume. In 2022, it secured 11 percent of the overall European B-segment market.

With a focus on making electric mobility accessible to a broader audience at a reasonable price, the all-new ë-C3 represents a significant step forward for Citroën. Notably, it's the first all-electric B-segment vehicle of its kind in the region, designed and manufactured in Europe. Production will take place at the Stellantis Trnava manufacturing plant in Slovakia.

The new ë-C3 arrives here early next year with Irish pricing yet to be announced.
