Revealed: new GLC Coupe SUV from Mercedes, due later in year

Overview

The new Mercedes GLC coupe has just been revealed and goes on sale later in the year.

All models have plug-in hybrid or 48-volt mild-hybrid technology.

There are four mild hybrids, two petrol, two diesel (all two-litre but with different outputs) and three plug-ins (all two-litre), two petrol and one diesel.

Sports suspension is standard and there is a technology package with the Airmatic air suspension.

For off-roading there is 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

The SUV comes with the latest generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system.

Standard spec includes 18-inch wheels with the AVANTGARDE exterior. AMG Line variants can have 19-inch or 20-inch wheels.

At 4,76mm, it is 31mm longer and 5mm higher than its predecessor.

The track widths are 6mm larger at the front (1,627mm) and 23mm at the rear (now 1,640mm).

Boot space is up 45 litres to 545 litres.
