The Saizare Naudin Sports Car was the brainchild of the Parisian Gentlemen Monsieur Maurice Sizaire who was the designer of the unique shape and Monsier Louis Naudin who built the car in 1905 the Sizaire Naudin motor company was born.
This car which Guyson International owned has quite an interesting history as it was originally imported into the UK by a company called Charles Jarroit & Letts this is why on this car the letters CJL was imprinted on the Radiator,
This car featured on the Olympia stand at the London Motor show in 1911, This car which is registered whit the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain was purchased by a theatre owner from Finley and this enterprising gentleman then drove it from London to Finley where it featured in the production play "Get Out Get Under"
When the theatre was sold this Sizire passed into the hands of the ex-mayor of Scarbouragh and it was used locally to attract attention when collecting for the local Scarbouragh lifeboat via various charity events and early car rallies.
In 1969 the car was sold to its next owner where it was displayed until approx. 2017
This is a 12 Horsepower model with four cylinders, the independent front suspension is by a transverse leaf spring and sliding pillars, though unconventional the suspension and drive works very well hence the Sizaire Naudins excellent Race records
The transmission is a direct drive on all 3 forward speeds by means of a propeller shaft to engage corresponding rings of teeth on the crown wheel
The Sizaire Naudin is entirely its own design.
