ENA 400 Beautiful 1937 Lancia Aprilia with a racing past
Pictured here in the 1938 Rallye Of Monte Carlo raced by a famous Race Car Driver called Miss.V.M.Wilby (Miss Violet *Midge* Wilby) Leaving John Of Grothes o Groats in 1938 to compete in the 1938 Rallye of Monte Carlo under racing number 77 her Co.Pilot at this time is believed to be Miss Joan Brotchie
Violet Midge was a pioneer in Rallying in the 1930s she first took part in the 1932 RAC Rally in a Wolseley Hornet, She also raced the Scottish rally in the Wolseley in 32, after finishing sixth in the 37 Monte Carlo Rallye Coupe des Dames. Shortly after that she became heavily involved with Atlanta cars, as a patron, Company director and also a works driver, In 39 she also successfully drove an Atalanta at the Scottish Rally
ENA 400 is also documented in several other Rallys & can be found in W.Boddys Continental Sports Car Book* competing in the Pre War Welsh Rally from London Circa 1950.
This Lancia has not ever changed hands on the open market and was in the previous ownership for many decades
