BYD expands Irish main dealer network
Two new dealerships for the South-East

Motor Distributors Limited (MDL) has announced the addition of two new BYD main dealers to its network, both of whom are members of the Bolands retail dealership network. This strategic move is anticipated to significantly strengthen BYD's presence in the Irish market.
With the inclusion of the new Bolands BYD dealerships in Inner Ring Road, Waterford, and Enniscorthy, the BYD network now comprises five outlets, with plans for further expansions in the future. These new dealerships will operate under the names BYD Waterford and BYD Wexford, respectively.
The expansion is designed to cover areas where BYD did not have representation previously. MDL believes that this strategic placement will enhance BYD's influence in regions where the three highly-specified and competitively-priced BYD models—ATTO 3, DOLPHIN, and SEAL—hold strong customer appeal.
These appointments are timed to coincide with the enlargement of the BYD model range. Alongside the existing ATTO 3, BYD introduces the new 4-door C-segment hatchback, DOLPHIN. Additionally, the 'strikingly sporty' 4-door D-segment sedan, SEAL, is set to arrive within weeks. Both DOLPHIN and SEAL are part of BYD's 'Ocean' series, featuring the distinctive 'Ocean Aesthetics' design language.
