Another day, another SUV. This time it is Mitsubishi's turn. Their new compact Eclipse Cross (pictured) will make its global debut at next week's Geneva Show.
It has what they are calling 'sharp coupé looks' and will have high levels of connectivity as well as all-wheel control technology.
The compact SUV market segment is overflowing with rivals, ranging from the Nissan Qashqai to the Volkswagen Tiguan.
The Eclipse will have the Smartphone Link Display which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
There will be two engines: a new1.5-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol with CVT (8spd sport mode manual override; and a 2.2-litre diesel 8spd automatic - most popular for Irish buyers.
Expect it to be on sale in Ireland early next year.
