Most drivers confused by tech in cars – survey

Overview

A new study from Hyundai highlights what a lot of drivers already know: they are overwhelmed by technology in their cars.

More than two-thirds of us (68pc) feel that way.

Funny thing is 78pc feel confident with tech on their phones and TVs.

And a separate poll of 500 drivers found that 65pc don’t use voice activation, heated seats (57pc), etc.

More than half (55pc) admitted lack of usage was due to ignorance (55pc), with 31pc blaming a lack of confidence about how to use the tech properly.

And 55pc only discovered some of the tech six months after purchase.
