Tougher, bolder, and made for the wild.
Opel has unveiled an eye-catching new concept SUV, the Frontera GRAVEL, ahead of the all-new Frontera’s arrival in Ireland later this year. Designed for adventure beyond the tarmac, this rugged show car hints at what a tougher, off-road-ready Frontera could look like.
Built in collaboration with motorsport specialists Blackfish and XS, the GRAVEL is based on the all-electric Frontera production model, featuring a low centre of gravity, strong torque, and specially fitted BORBET wheels for tackling gravel trails.
A bold desert-stone finish, matte black roof and bonnet, and orange highlights give it serious off-road presence. Added kit includes a front-mounted winch, roof rack, extra lighting and side storage boxes, while inside, microfibre seats with orange accents complete the look.
Opel’s Vice President of Marketing, Rebecca Reinermann, describes it as a "trailblazing version" aimed at testing the appetite for a more rugged Frontera in the future.
The Frontera GRAVEL made its public debut this week at XS CARNIGHT Wörthersee in Austria.
