Tesla Announces Ireland Winter Roadshow

A host of events are planned around Ireland

Overview

This winter, Tesla is organizing a series of test drive events at various locations across Ireland, spanning from Cork to Athlone and beyond. As part of an ongoing initiative to enhance engagement within the Irish community, Tesla is actively seeking additional locations in Ireland to educate the public on electric vehicles and their potential benefits for the country.

Established in Ireland since 2017, Tesla opened its first Tesla Centre in Sandyford, Dublin, and subsequently opened a second center in Cork in September of this year.

In recent years, Tesla has witnessed significant sales growth in Ireland, achieving record-breaking sales and year-over-year expansion. The Tesla Model Y has emerged as the second most popular electric vehicle (EV) in the country and stands as Europe's top-selling vehicle overall. Tesla aims to continue this market growth in Ireland.

Melanie Naughton, Country Sales and Delivery Manager at Tesla, emphasized the company's mission in Ireland, stating, "Tesla’s mission in Ireland is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy." She expressed pride in contributing to this mission and emphasized ongoing investments in jobs, infrastructure, and employee training to support the shift to electric vehicles.

To sustain this growth, Tesla plans to conduct a series of events and community engagement programs throughout the country, facilitating the transition to sustainable energy and educating the public on the advantages of electric vehicles. The initiative begins with six events across the country, starting in Athlone, with plans to expand the roadshow to additional locations. Interested attendees can locate events and schedule test drives on Tesla's website.

Tesla also encourages local communities and event organizers to reach out and express interest in having Tesla participate in upcoming events across the country. Details of upcoming events, including locations and dates, are available on Tesla's website.
