Skoda has just updated the mid-size crossover, the KAROQ.
It is due here around next April.
They have sharpened the looks, partly thanks to slimmer headlights which have, for the first time, full-LED Matrix technology.
They claim lower emissions and improved aerodynamics.
And they say there are unprecedented levels of driver and safety assists.
Inside there is new upholstery which, Skoda say, can be made from sustainable materials “as an option”.

The current model has been on sale for four years now and nearly 1,400 people bought one this year – a 25pc increase on last year.
There will be three trim levels: Ambition, Style and Sportline.
The engine line-up comprises two diesel and two petrols ranging from 110 PS to 150 PS. There will not be an all-wheel drive option.
Prices will be released early next year.
The revised car is 4,390mm long and 1,841mm wide.
The boot capacity is similar to that in the previous model.
