Starting from €51,650
AUDI's new A6 saloon costs from €51,650 on-the-road, the company has revealed.
It comes with both petrol and diesel engines, and the 2-litre, 204PS TDi is now 'available to order'.
There will be a 2-litre TFSI petrol later this year, and two 3.0TDI V6 models are also on the order list.
Front-wheel drive versions come first, but quattro (all-wheel drive) models are due later in the year. All engines have new mild-hybrid technology: a belt alternator starter combines with a lithium-ion battery so that the car can coast between 54kmh and 159kmh to help reduce fuel consumption.
The company says there is more room in the car, with those at the rear benefiting in particular. There are two equipment lines: SE and S Line. Standard spec includes LED headlamps, lane assist, PreSense front, Audi Connect, leather interior and smart phone interface.
