Audi Unveils New A6 Saloon: Quieter, Sleeker, and Smarter

Audi’s new A6 Saloon debuts with best-in-class aerodynamics and mild hybrid tech from €64,940.

Overview

Audi is expanding its A6 range with a sleek new business Saloon that sets new benchmarks for design, efficiency, and comfort. With a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.23—the lowest for any combustion-engine Audi—the new A6 combines streamlined styling with modern mild hybrid petrol and diesel engines to deliver improved performance and fuel economy.

Inside, the cabin offers a notably quieter experience thanks to enhanced sound insulation, upgraded door and window seals, and noise-absorbing tyres on 19-inch wheels and above. Refined engine and transmission mounts also contribute to the smooth and silent ride.

Built in Neckarsulm and available globally, the A6 Saloon will open for orders in Ireland from April 16, starting at €64,940 for the 150 kW TFSI version, with deliveries beginning summer 2025. Audi Ireland Brand Director Christian Gussen hailed it as “the pinnacle of luxury” and encouraged drivers to experience it for themselves with a test drive.
