Spring arrival for the Spring

Orders for the new Dacia Spring will open in spring 2024, with the market launch scheduled for summer 2024, including for the first time a right-hand drive version for customers in Ireland.

Dacia Spring, the first all-electric model by Dacia, has played a pivotal role in making zero-emission mobility accessible worldwide since its launch in 2021. With over 140,000 registrations globally, it ranked as the third-best-selling electric car to individuals in both 2022 and 2023. Notably, it earned a 5-star rating from the independent organization Green NCAP in 2022 for its energy efficiency and low carbon footprint.

The Spring has resonated with users seeking affordable and efficient zero-emission mobility, evidenced by data showing an average daily trip of 37 km at a speed of 37 km/h, with 75% of users recharging at home. Over time, the Spring has evolved, introducing a new brand identity in 2022 and a more powerful 65 hp engine in 2023, while remaining the most affordable full-electric car on the market.

The latest iteration of the Dacia Spring enhances its appeal with a renewed and robust design, maintaining its affordability. The exterior showcases Dacia's new design language, emphasizing solidity and modernity, while the interior features a revamped dashboard and digital screens, emphasizing practicality and digital innovation.

The New Spring continues to offer the best value for money, remaining the most affordable electric car on the market. It boasts exceptional storage capacity, with 308 liters of boot space and additional storage options, making it practical for various needs.

The car introduces an expanded range, including a mid-range Expression trim, and offers two engine options: a 65 hp engine for Expression and Extreme trims, and a 45 hp engine for Essential and Expression trims.

In terms of efficiency, the New Spring focuses on lightness, weighing less than a tonne and achieving excellent energy use. The compact 26.8 kWh battery provides a range of over 220 km, with regenerative braking contributing to optimal range management.

The New Spring comes equipped with enhanced connectivity, multimedia features, and advanced driver assistance systems, meeting the latest safety standards. It also introduces a bi-directional V2L charger, allowing it to power external devices, adding practicality to its eco-friendly attributes.

Green NCAP awarded the Dacia Spring a 5-star rating and recognized it as the Best Car Green NCAP 2022 for its efficient energy use and low environmental impact.
