Leapmotor Ireland Announces Pricing for New T03 Compact EV, Launching This October
Leapmotor Ireland, the latest entrant to the Irish electric vehicle market, has confirmed the official list price of its eagerly awaited T03 compact EV. Arriving this October, the all-electric T03 will start from €18,950 (inclusive of SEAI grant and VRT rebate) and comes generously equipped as standard, featuring highlights such as a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and a high-tech 10.1-inch infotainment system. This positions the Leapmotor T03 as one of the most accessible and best-value electric cars available in Ireland today.
Measuring 3,620mm in length, the T03 blends compact proportions with distinctive design. A sculpted front profile and sleek curves give it a friendly, contemporary look aimed at drivers of all ages, whether in the city or suburbs. Offered in a single trim – Style – with a choice of four vibrant colours, the T03 boasts an exceptional equipment list as standard, including:
Voice control, online navigation & 4-speaker audio
Powered by a 37.3 kWh battery, the T03 offers 265km WLTP range, with energy efficiency rated at 8.06 km/kWh. In independent real-world testing at the ECOBEST Challenge 2025, the car exceeded expectations, achieving 290km on a single charge and taking home top efficiency honours. DC fast charging from 30–80% takes around 36 minutes.
Stephen McGrath, Brand Manager at Leapmotor Ireland, commented:
“Leapmotor is committed to delivering best-in-class technology and specification as standard, at highly competitive prices. By 2026, we will introduce three models to the Irish market, followed by a further three in 2027. Our positioning statement, ‘Take the Leap’, reflects our mission to make the move to zero-emissions driving easier, more affordable, and more rewarding than ever before. The T03, our first model to launch in Ireland, redefines value for Irish motorists and makes electric mobility accessible to all.”
Joining the T03 in October will be the Leapmotor C10, a family SUV with pricing and specifications to be announced shortly.
Leapmotor enters Ireland as part of a strategic partnership between Stellantis – one of the world’s largest mobility groups – and Leapmotor, one of the fastest-growing Chinese EV brands. In Ireland, distribution is handled by Gowan Auto, national importer for Stellantis brands including Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot, and Honda. The addition of Leapmotor strengthens Gowan Auto’s EV portfolio, giving Irish customers even greater choice in value and technology.
The official market launch this autumn will see the Leapmotor T03 and C10 available through Gowan Auto’s established nationwide retail network, ensuring strong sales and aftersales support. Dealer franchise appointments will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
