New Volkswagen Van Scrappage offers for 2018

Volkswagen have extended their impressive ECO grant scrappage scheme to its commercial vehicle sector. This will allow customers of any commercial vehicle or passenger car to scrap their vehicle at an approved ‘End of Life Treatment Centre’ in return for up to €4,000 incl. VAT scrappage allowance. This will be coupled with a 0% HP Finance and 1.9% PCP Finance offers. The grant amounts vary by model:

*Eco Grant on Caddy 1.2 TFSi Petrol is €1,000 including VAT all other models are €2,000 including VAT

They will also be introducing petrol power to the range with the launch of the new 1.2TFSi Caddy. Starting from €14,995 (inc VAT) or €13,995 with the ECO Grant, this will make it the lowest priced van on the Irish market.

In more good news from the brand, finance acceptance rates are also up with four in every five applications now being accepted.

The launch of the new ECO Grant offer will take old diesel vehicles off the road for good, while offering Customers up to €4,000 in savings. We are expecting a further increase in business levels for the remainder of 2017 and into 2018. Being the only vehicle brand in Ireland to allow customers to combine the scrappage savings with the 0% HP finance option, we have set a new benchmark that offers customers full transparency on the offer. We are focused on further progressing the brand in Ireland and with new models such as the award-winning Crafter and the Caddy which will now be produced for Ireland in a TFSi petrol derivative, the future looks bright”

The first ECO grant customer was Vincent Collins from Service Matters, headquartered in Roscommon with branches in Dublin, Limerick and Tyrone, who scrapped his 2007 diesel Ford Focus for a new Volkswagen Crafter. The event was streamed live on Facebook.
