Overview

Provided by Independent.iePeugeot here is bringing in a rather special version of their 308GTi. It's called the 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport. That means the GTi has been developed by engineering experts to give it extra dynamics such as a tuned chassis. It's powered by a1.6-litre THP petrol engine which develops 250bhp or 270bhp depending on version. For a performance engine emissions of 139g/km and 6litres/100km are decent. The 250bhp version starts at €36,990 ex-works with the 270bhp model from €39,990. The car is on special order. The 250bhp manages 0-to-100kmh in 6.2 seconds but it can stop quickly too with 330mm discs (front) and 268mm (rear). The 270bhp model hits 100kmh in 6 seconds flat.Standard equipment on the 250bhp version includes 18ins alloys, dual zone climate control, cruise control with speed limiter, auto headlamps and wipers, parking sensors with rear parking camera, sat nav and sports-style front seats. The 270bhp version has Torsen differential which improves the amount of torque (pulling power) to the drive axles and, as a result, helps cornering grip, 19ins alloys, leather bucket seats etc.
