Skoda is to make a powerful Enyaq iV vRS electric SUV. You can expect it here in the second half of next year.
Powered by an 82kWh battery, it will pump 299PS from two electric motors – which means it has all-wheel drive.
They are talking about a range of more than 500kms.
The new Enyaq iV vRS will be up there with the most powerful motors in the range.
It gets sports suspension as standard, has large 20-inch or 21-inch wheels and has a top speed of 180kmh.
For purposes of comparison, that makes it 20kmh faster than the other Enyaq iV models, as is the coupe variant.
It can be charged from 10pc to 80pc in just 36 minutes at fast-charging stations.
The five-seater is 4,653mm long, 1,879mm wide and 1,605mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,768mm. The 585-litre boot is 15 litres larger than the Enyaq Coupe iV vRS and can be expanded to up to 1,710 litres by folding down the rear-seat backrests.
There are several visual clues that set it aside as a powerhouse.
