What’s new
The facelift brings a cleaner, more confident look: a new honeycomb front grille, refreshed front and rear light signatures (with full-surface LED guides), and detail changes including revised 18-inch alloys and an embossed Corolla Cross rear badge. Inside, Toyota targets everyday usability with a larger centre console, sliding storage, extra phone cubbies and updated cup holders. New high-damping materials and added insulation aim to reduce road and wind noise for a calmer drive.
Hybrid power, two outputs
Irish buyers can choose Hybrid 1.8 or Hybrid 2.0, giving the same easy, self-charging hybrid experience with a choice of performance. The Corolla Cross continues as a practical, efficient gateway to electrified motoring.
GR SPORT arrives (Oct 2025)
For the first time, the Corolla Cross line-up adds a GR SPORT grade, tuned for a more dynamic look and feel. Highlights include fully machined 19-inch black alloys, a dedicated GR front grille, gloss-black Toyota badge, and an exclusive Storm Grey bi-tone finish. The cabin gets Alcantara seats with red stitching and GR logos. First Irish cars are due October 2025.
Safety and tech
Toyota T-Mate is standard, combining the latest Toyota Safety Sense (generation 3) with additional driver-assist and parking aids; over-the-air updates keep systems current. Infotainment is handled by Toyota Smart Connect with a 10.5-inch HD touchscreen, while all grades get a 12.3-inch digital driver display. Wireless charging is now standard, with Android connectivity and charging speeds improved (≈1.5×) to match Apple CarPlay performance. Upper trims add ambient lighting, heated seats and a heated steering wheel.
