BMW reveals revised 3-series saloon and Touring; 16 million sold

Overview

BMW has just announced details and pricing of the latest 3-series saloon and Touring models.

Straight off from launch there will be six engines: four petrol, including one plug-in hybrid, and two diesels, both with mild-hybrid technology.

And each line-up has a Performance model at the top of the individual ranges.

That means you can order your new 3-Series with outputs that range from 184hp to 374hp.

BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive comes as standard on the range-topping models, and is an option on some variants.

Standard on all versions now is the 8spd Steptronic Sport transmission.

Prices start from €52,440 for the 330e or 320i.

Notable visual changes include the redrawn BMW kidney grille and much slimmer headlights. The newly designed cockpit has BMW’s Curved Display and BMW Operating System 8.

Imagine, more than 16 million 3-series have been sold since the car was initially launched in 1975.
