Dan Seaman Motors appointed as Leapmotor’s second Irish dealer

Leapmotor Ireland has announced the appointment of Dan Seaman Motors, Forge Hill, Cork as its second official franchise dealer in Ireland. The move marks another milestone in Leapmotor’s rapid expansion, with the brand aiming to make innovative and affordable electric vehicles more accessible for Irish motorists.

From this October, Cork drivers will be able to view and purchase the compact Leapmotor T03 and the family-friendly C10 SUV at Dan Seaman Motors, with the all-new B10 SUV to follow shortly.

Stephen McGrath, Brand Manager at Leapmotor Ireland, welcomed the partnership:
“We are thrilled to welcome Dan Seaman Motors to the Leapmotor family. Their longstanding reputation in Cork for outstanding customer care and community engagement makes them a natural fit for our mission to lead the transition to sustainable motoring across the country.”

He added that the collaboration strengthens Leapmotor’s ability to bring cutting-edge technology, outstanding value, and high service standards to even more Irish drivers.

Founded in 1985, Dan Seaman Motors is a family-run dealership that has built a reputation for quality service and aftersales support. Relocating in 2002 to a modern two-storey showroom at Forge Hill, the dealership currently represents four Stellantis sister brands: Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, and Jeep.

Dealer Principal Ger Seaman expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership:

The appointment of Dan Seaman Motors is part of a wider strategy by Gowan Auto, the national importer for Leapmotor in Ireland and distributor for Stellantis brands including Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Fiat, Jeep, Opel, Peugeot and Honda. Backed by Stellantis — one of the world’s largest mobility companies — Leapmotor is one of the fastest-growing electric vehicle brands globally.

With more dealer appointments to be announced soon, Leapmotor’s arrival in Cork represents a significant step forward in Ireland’s electric future.
