THESE are latest official pictures of Ford's new Puma SUV-inspired crossover. It is due here later in the year.

Powered by the brand's EcoBoost Hybrid 48-volt technology, its mild-hybrid powertrain integrates pulling-power assistance with a 3cyl 1‑litre EcoBoost petrol engine to deliver up to 155 PS.

It will have Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go; new local hazard warning; wireless charging and 12.3ins digital instrument cluster.

Luggage capacity is 456 litres.

EcoBoost Hybrid technology boosts Puma's 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine with an 11.5 kW belt-driven integrated starter/generator (BISG).

It will come in 125 PS and 155 PS variants.

Anticipated CO2 emissions will be from 123g/km with 5.4 l/100km consumption - for the 125 PS version. Corresponding figures for the 155PS version are 124g/km, 5.4 l/100km.
